fucked up mess to the point of not caring for capitals

Here are the images of my initial experiment with 3 dimensional form. I didn’t use a net so it pretty unimpressive in it’s accuracy however it does the job of showing what I am trying to create. The paper was by no means considered I just wanted to bash out a shape to show to see whether I was actually able to handle the making of such things. The hand stitched gold thread detailing was in some ways only a mans of pulling the net together, however It just sort of came unconsciously as an aethctic issue, bringing back my love of detailed, precious embroidery. I’m not sure whether I NEEDED to use wire
to reinforce it but I decided to anyway to avoid the risk of collapse.
This took a LOT longer to make than I predicted, which just showed how impractical it was to use the needle as the only way of gluing, and in future I will have to glue in order to be more efficient and create more developments.

But overall a success I felt. It did the job and made me realise I can make 3D things, and it isn’t as daunting as I was thinking it may be. I should just use a net in future to be more exact. Not sure what this is meant to be……some kind of tetrapyramidy thing
